The boys were in FCR training weekend in Hamina. The focus was in hunting (different kind of birds and a rabbit).
I took some photos *from the weekend, but there aren’t anything “special” (like photos of working Flattie) because I was training both of the boys and did not have too much time for taking photos.

Alfie was in his first show and was Baby Boy 2nd. The judgement…
Eddie was in his first show and was Baby Boy 2nd & HP (Honor Price).
The judgement was as follows (translated from finnish):
Excellent type, correctly proportioned puppy. Long dry head. Good length of neck. Slightly upright sholders. Excellent front chest. Good deep chest. Good body. Puppy is shown slightly overweight. Good hind angulations. Proper bone structure in limbs. Slightly flat paws. Moves with good stride length, a bit loose from the front. Puppy was shown well. Pleasant temperament
This is very sad. I had to let Niki go. She wasn’t feeling ok anymore. She was over 14 years and 5 months, so it was her time to go; she just closed her eyes peacefully on Wednesday evening and sleeps forever. I miss her more than words could ever express. The most important thing now is that she is fine.
Farewell my beloved dog. Thank you for the lovely 14 years. You will always live in my heart!
I’ve been very lazy updating this site lately. Old webpages will be renewed soon, so hopefully I will be more active then. My Finnish blog however gets updated several times per week. Eddie and Alfie are doing well: they both are playing, sleeping, eating and growing. Eddie started puppy training on Monday 13th August. It is once a week. When Alfie is vaccinated twice I will enroll him to the puppy class too. Hopefully there is room for him in the next module. Alfie had his vaccination on 18th of August and next one will be due in a month.
Niki is now 14 years and 4 months old and she still wants to do her short forest walks. She is doing fine but getting quite slow.
She seem to enjoy the boys a lot and don’t want to be separated from them (for example when I go to work she does not want a gate to separate them during that time). She is more happy when I came back and she has spent the time having a nap next to the boys. Alfie hasn’t yet enjoyed “a bike ride” but hopefully I’ll soon take him for a ride. Eddie enjoyed the bike rides a lot since they always ended up to the lake.
