Extended family, 12 June 2009
We have new family members: 2 young goats Wilma & Wilho and about 2-year old female goat called Lumikki (Show White). We are now self-sufficient with milk.
Hip X-ray, 12 June 2009
I was not satisfied with Finnish Kennel club’s scoring of Eddie’s hips (C/B) nor was the vet who took the x-rays. We took new x-rays and as before the vet’s score for them was A/A and he assured that both of the hips are equal.
After waiting for some time I got the new results from the Kennel club: B/B. This is fine by me even though I trust more of the other opinion of A/A. The vet who took these x-rays has been scoring them earlier in the Finnish Kennel Club.
Eye examination, 23 April 2009
Eddies & Alfies eyes were examinated today and they got “healthy” marks in everything.
Health exam, 27 March 2009
Eddie & Alfie were X-rayed on 27/3/09 and the results were A/A for hips (the best score), elbows 0/0 (the best result) and knees 0/0 (the best results).
English blog, 20 October 2008
The flatcoats have started blogging also in English. Most of the writings will most probably be in the Finnish version, but I’ll try to be active also in the English version.
Retrieving Test, 4 September 2008
Eddie was in the Retrieving Test in Iittala September 4th, 2008 but unfortunately did not pass the test. Better luck next time

Farewell Veera, 12 May 2008
My lovely cat Veera died 12/5 evening all of the sudden. She was bleeding heavily and put down by a vet. She is now in Rainbow bridge
